Yes! We can’t wait to see you in your finest! If any gents are looking for a tux to rent, we recommend The Black Tux (theblacktux.com)
Like any good Catholic wedding, there is a “Catholic gap.” The ceremony starts at 3pm at Saint Ignatius Loyola (on 84th and Park Avenue) and will last about an hour. Cocktails start at 5:30pm at The Pierre (on 61st and Fifth Avenue). If it’s a nice day, a stroll in Central Park or down Park, Madison or Fifth Avenues is always a nice way to see the city. UPDATED: There is not a great place to hang out at The Pierre in between the ceremony (ending around 4pm) and cocktails (starting at 5:30pm), as The Two E Bar at The Pierre does not open until 5pm. If you're looking for a place to stop in between the ceremony and cocktails, we recommend visiting one of these local watering holes: - The Regency Bar at the Loews Regency Hotel - 540 Park Avenue at 61st Street (2 blocks from The Pierre) - Lobby Lounge at the Ritz Carlton Central Park - 50 Central Park South at 6th Avenue (3 blocks from The Pierre) - The Bar Room - 117 East 60th Street between Park and Lexington Avenues (3 blocks from The Pierre) - The Champagne Bar at the Plaza Hotel - 768 Fifth Avenue at 59th Street (2 blocks from The Pierre)
Whatever you prefer! You are welcome to wear your black tie attire to the ceremony, but if you prefer to go back to your hotel/home to change, that also works.
Yes! We will be hosting an afterparty from 11:15pm-1:15am at The Two E Bar, The Pierre's lobby bar.
No. We will be hosting a rehearsal dinner for our families and bridal parties. If you’re spending Friday night in the city, here are some of our favorite restaurants in the area: - Bad Roman - Twin Tails - Harry Cipriani - Nougatine - Le Bilboquet - Avra - Fleming
No. We love you but we’ll be sleeping in. Some of the restaurants in the area do a lovely Sunday brunch!
