We're getting married!

Anthony and I met in middle school. Although we did not hang out in the same crowd or socialize with the same group of people, we would interact in passing. Not thinking much of it, honestly. I kept to myself and he hung out with everybody. We went through middle school this way and then all the way through high school. Never giving each other the time of day. After high school, both of us went down our separate paths. Anthony went to the military and I moved away for college. In our college years, there were a few instances of Anthony trying to make a move. A snapchat here, a reply to my Instagram story there. But being the way I am, I didn't think much of it and hardly ever responded. Until, 2 years after I graduated college. Anthony was deployed to Iraq and I was moving to Louisville, KY. On June 19, 2023, I posted a very simple picture to my Instagram story of my living room that I had decorated. Anthony replied to it and said, "This honestly looks so amazing, good job!" and then said, "It literally looks like you screenshotted a Pinterest post and put it on your story." A true modern day love story. From then on, I was hooked. Haha. This was the first time, in all of our years of being close to one another, had engaged in a real conversation. From that day on, we talked day and night. He came back from Iraq a few months later, took me on a date, and we have been inseparable since.
