Anthony and Ashley met on Hinge, which is funny considering they both worked for Delta and somehow never crossed paths the normal way. In May 2024, Ashley briefly downloaded the app while traveling, something she had sworn she’d never do. She changed her location to New York, kept the app for maybe 24–48 hours, and deleted it. But in that tiny window, Anthony & Ashley found each other & matched. A few messages were exchanged, Instagram follows happened… and then absolutely nothing. Just two Delta employees unknowingly missing their connection. They didn’t actually end up talking until July, when Anthony messaged Ashley while she was escaping Hurricane Beryl in Texas telling her to be safe. After talking on and off for a few months, they finally decided in October to give it a real shot. So Ashley flew to New Jersey to meet Anthony for the first time. He took her to try her first (real) pizza, they enjoyed the beautiful sights of Duke Gardens, and then Anthony made sure to send her home with the infamous Taylor ham, egg & cheese sandwich. By the end of that weekend, what started as a leap of faith turned into a certainty that felt easy, familiar, and right. From then on, they knew. The yin to the other’s yang.
