We met at work 12 years ago. She worked night shift and he sat in the assistants corner. We became friends when Amy started working day shift in 2016. We would joke around with our coworkers all day, do the tasks in our job descriptions, and slowly began to share more intimate parts of our lives with each other. One night at our end of the year party, she kissed him. From that day forward, they talked every single day. He eventually asked her to be his girlfriend but it wasn't the right time so after 4 months, they decided to just be friends. They still talked every day and became best friends, neither one wanting to admit that they couldn't let go. There came a time when he started dating someone and they finally said goodbye. But we wouldn't be here if they didn't find their way back to each other. A little over a year later, he texted her asking if she would help him study for one of his licensing exams for ultrasound. She couldn't believe it and was skeptical but eventually agreed to meet him at a coffee shop. Once they saw each other and started talking, it was like no time had passed. He admitted to her that he thought about her everyday and every time something exciting or weird happened, that he wished he could just pick up the phone and call or text her. He told her that he loved her and didn't want to go on another day in life without her. She felt the same and couldn't believe this was happening. He asked her to give him a chance to prove that he will never walk away again and that he will always love her. He has shown this more than she could have imagined!! Since then, they have taken many adventures and dates together. One of those took them across the ocean to Germany where he got down on one knee and asked her to be his forever ever and marry him. Of course she said yes!!! Now we are planning our biggest adventure yet, walking down the isle to become husband and wife, united as one. The day is extra special to us as it marks 10 years from the first time we dated. We cannot wait to share this day with all of you!
