We’re getting married!

The two met at one of their earlier jobs (which was Taco Bell to be exact!) and became fast friends. Every day was a fun day working together. Alyssa had to train Tony so they got to spend quite a bit of time together and realized they had similar senses of humor and personalities. Unfortunately they only remained friends during this time but became close quickly. As years had passed and they went their separate ways one day in 2019 when Alyssa was on Instagram she had noticed that his sister posted a picture of them coming back from their trip to Missouri. Alyssa immediately reached out because she hadn’t heard or seen him in so long and was hoping the friendship hadn’t changed. After reaching out with a sweet “Hey, How are you” it was like they hadn’t skipped a beat. They became best friends again and started talking and hanging out every single day for a straight month. They would laugh, share Canes, and enjoy movies together and you would think they’ve been best friends for years but they had just rekindled seeing each other. After that month of seeing each other Tony decided to make his move and ask Alyssa to be his girlfriend. Alyssa was nervous so she declined the first time and said “can you please give me some more time I’m a little nervous”. She was nervous that moving forward in their relationship would destroy the best friendship that they had together. Little did she know that after sometime of patience and spending more time together they became inseparable and 2 1/2 years later are planning their wedding together and are happier than ever. Who says you can’t meet the love of your life at Taco Bell?

It was two days before their 2 year anniversary and Tony mentioned he wanted to do something special for them. Due to bad weather conditions up in the mountains he decided to keep it simple and took them to go have a picnic at Rancho San Rafael since it would still be comfortable fall picnic weather. Alyssa thought that was a great idea! They bundled up and set out to get their favorite sandwiches from Capriottis that they knew would be just perfect for their picnic. Once they got to the park they set up their little area and just enjoyed their meal and listened to their favorite music. As they were finishing their meal and are getting ready to leave Alyssa’s friend Mandy who also does photography approached her and took her by suprise. She announced that she was there for a family photo shoot so Alyssa thought nothing of it. They exchanged casual conversation and then Mandy said “You should introduce me to Tony”. Alyssa said “of course!” meanwhile Tony is standing behind her so she can’t see him directly. Right when she turned around she sees he’s on one knee and next thing you know he’s asking her to marry him! As she go to hug him she can hear the camera clicking and realized that her friend was there to actually take pictures of them and was helping with the proposal. Alyssa was truly shocked she had thought this was just a good old fashioned picnic that Tony put together for their 2 years. What she didn’t know was that he had planned for the photographer to meet him there so that he could propose. The picnic was absolutely perfect and Tony did such a great job putting everything together. BEST. PROPOSAL. EVER.

We have a pet cat named King that’s super spoiled. 3.We have a pet lizard named Dragon who is over 20 years old. 4.We are huge anime nerds. 5.Our favorite food is Canes! 6.Our favorite thing to do is watch movies! (Our favorite movie is “10 things I hate about you”) 7. Our song is “How deep is your love” by the BeeGees. 8. The first movie we ever saw together was “Queen & Slim”. 9. We are both the oldest sibling in our families. 10. Our #1 comfort show is “the office”.
