Anthony and Alissa first met in the winter of 2018. Alissa was searching for someone who reflected her values, someone she could share the love of her tiny white dog with. Anthony was trying to adjust to life after his career in baseball, and while he always had romantic notions of settling down, he wasn't quite sure what he was looking for. Life changed quickly one evening while scouring her Bumble matches, Alissa made what can only be described as the best offer of her life when she inquired the level of one of her many matches’ interest in her friend’s black and white tuxedo cat. Little did she know that Anthony had (still has) an almost unhealthy love for furry felines. In her cunning, she captured both Anthony’s attention and curiosity in one fell swoop. While he never acquired the cat, he did find both the love of his life and his best friend in Alissa Lynn Polet while winning the affection of her small companion, Brulee. Over these past seven years, through thick and thin, ups and downs, trials, tribulations, tragedy and joy, Anthony and Alissa have always found their way back to each other and become two halves of a whole.
