Picture it… ten years ago. The setting? Round Table Pizza. One of us was a dough roller, and one of us was a supervisor. (It’s me. I was the supervisor.) Now here’s the part that never gets old: I was Anthony’s boss. Back then, we didn’t date. Like all classic restaurant tales, I was actually dating another supervisor. Life happened, paths changed, we went our separate ways and started our careers. But we always stayed in touch—thanks to the magic of social media. Fast forward to about two years ago: I got a message from Anthony, asking if I wanted to grab dinner and drinks. I figured, “Why not?” We hadn’t seen each other in years—what a fun way to catch up.
