Aquarium of the Pacific
Fae took me here on my birthday one year and it's a really wonderful aquarium and interactive for children too, even has a large shark / skate / ray petting pool!
Goff Cove
This is one of our favorite places to go Snorkeling / Freediving for a large amount of fish and seals, and some great tide pools and body surfing!
Shaws Cove
Another amazing Snorkeling / Freediving spot for lots of beautiful fish / kelp / natural rock arches and slot canyons.
Dog Beach | Huntington Beach
Best Dog Beach in Los Angeles! Expansive beach with great body-surfing and a nice bike / roller blade / walking path all along the cliff side!
Rosie's Dog Beach
This could be you! Rosies Dog Beach has been a long time favorite of mine with Lou and Loki, and Raya got to become a regular too. The water isn't as nice as Huntington, but it's only a 7min drive from our apartment in Long Beach, so it's a great one!
Disneyland Park
Fae is a Candymaker here and gets to deliver magic to little ones on a regular basis! If you plan on going to Disneyland while you're in town, let us know! Fae has a few discounts / perks up her sleeve, and if nothing else, can give you the best recs on how to enjoy the day to the max!!!
