Gettin' hitched

We met on Tinder.....my accidental swipe right landed me a fiancé! Our first date was at Topgolf and later that night at Chimes East because we couldn't decide on what to eat. It was a Monday night (which happened to be on my nephew's birthday), with the first evening of cooler weather that Fall. We had a great time, (I beat him 🏌‍♀️⛳️) and we chatted all night until we realized it was after 1:00 am and we both begrudgingly had work later that morning. The rest is as they say, history.....

We had planned a weekend getaway trip for just the two of us to an all-inclusive resort in Cancun, Mexico for some much needed R&R. The weather was beautiful, the beach was breathtaking and the food was amazing! He sprung on me the day before we left town that he scheduled pictures to be taken on the beach and I was not excited about that in the least! I hated the idea of taking posed pictures in front of a bunch of strangers. The first few shots were hard on that photographer....poor guy 😬. Then he asked us to move onto the beach for some shots on the sand. He asked us to face each other, then the next you know Anthony is taking a knee to propose! I promptly asked him if he was serious? and then said "yes". I also pointed out that he tricked me. After the inital shock started to wear off, the pictures taken together were a breeze. Anthony still had one more trick up his sleeve though. He had planned a romantic dinner on the beach after the proposal and photo shoot. I previously asked him about dinner before we met the photographer and he had to placate me and tell me we will get to that after the pictures. I was ready to book a table at a restaurant right then. Once the photos were finished, he said "I told you not to worry about dinner because we are eating here...." and proceeded to point to the table that was set up right where we were on the beach! I'm quite sure he was thinking crisis averted, we are feeding her now! 😆 He really is such a romantic and thoughtful guy. He pulled out all the stops for this and I can't thank him enough for caring so much about the little details for us to have an such unforgettable experience. 💗
