Maid of Honor
Elizabeth has been my best friend since we were 5-years-old. We've have been through all of the big and small moments in life together: playing Barbies, talking about crushes, sleepovers, One Direction, breakups, driver’s licenses, even college. There was no doubt in my mind that I wanted Elizabeth by my side on my wedding day.
Best Man
Anthony and Kelvin met at the iglesia de Cristo at Sherman Ave. in the Inwood section of Manhattan. They both went to Florida College's New Jersey camp for the first time in 2007 and went to All Hallows High School together. Without Kelvin marrying Ciara, the chances of Anthony meeting Alena were pretty slim.
Bridesmaid
Ciara has always been a role model to me and the person I always turn to for advice. I can always call her for any reason, although she most likely won’t answer (for a while). Our conversations usually go from a random piece of information we wanted to share to ranting about serious topics- and then being cut off because Ciara’s phone died. I can’t imagine anyone being a better big sister to me.
Groomsman
Gary and Anthony also met at Sherman Ave. They have been best friends since Anthony's first year at NJ camp and have completed multiple trips together since, to Gary's amusement due to Anthony's discomfort when flying. Gary is a responsible young man who has been a great friend over the years.
Bridesmaid
Coco is the coolest little sister and friend. Growing up we used to pretend we were twins. I vividly remember playing dress up, Barbies, watching movies, playing outside, all the fun things we used to do together. And we still have fun together! She’s always ready to jam to One Direction with me, or go get food, or shop. And she keeps me up to date on the ever hanging slang.
Groomsman
Willy and Anthony met at Sherman Ave. as well, as they were introduced to each other by Gardner Hall. Along with an interest in Bible study, the two got along well through their mutual enjoyment of talking all things soccer and pro wrestling over the years. And pranking Gary. Willy was a great friend to Anthony in helping him prepare his proposal, and upcoming wedding, as he was going through similar events while preparing for his own wedding, which was in January.
Bridesmaid
I met Karley freshman year of high school. Although at first glance we were weary of each other, common interests (One Direction) brought us together. We clicked immediately and although in some ways we are complete opposites, we couldn’t be more compatible. Karley is the type of person who will always match your energy and be ready to cheer with you or hug you right. I a can't imagine my wedding without her.
Groomsman
Nello and Anthony first met at All Hallows High School in the Bronx back in 2009. They graduated high school and both attended Iona College from 2013-2017, where they shared a suite for three years. Nello's passion for movies, music and sports (did you know the Knicks were in the playoffs?) has led to countless conversations for the two over the years.
Bridesmaid
Mya and I became friends in high school. I wasn’t really friends with anyone in my computer class and neither was the girl next to me who always had her headphones on. So I started talking to her and she finally gave me a chance. We always have a good time whether it’s a trip to get groceries or hanging out watching cooking shows. She is so generous and kind, and always ready to hype you up. I couldn't imagine my life without her.
Groomsman
Gus and Anthony also met at All Hallows in 2009. They instantly became friends thanks to their love of the New York Yankees and it was a great year for all parties since the team won the World Series that fall. Gus supported Anthony through tough math and science honors classes, for which he is always grateful. The two also went to Iona College together, and supported each other through graduate school as well. Gus is a great friend with a love for his family and culture.
Bridesmaid
Victoria came into Anthony's life in 2002 when he was 7-years-old. She is the oldest of his brother's kids and is a joyful young lady. Anthony loves his family and spending time with his nieces and nephew. A smart and beautiful woman, she's happy to support her uncle on his big day and he's happy to have her grow close to Alena too when they move to NYC.
Groomsman
Patrick and Anthony met at Iona College in 2013 as the two were roommates in a small triple bedroom with Eddie. The two have shared many laughs since, and Pat was able to teach Anthony about the New York Rangers, Billy Joel and all things Long Island. They lived together every year in college where they even shared some classes as well. Pat's a responsible friend who is hard to not like as soon as you meet him.
Bridesmaid
Mayte’s bright and fun persona captivates the whole room wherever she is. Although she and Anthony first met in 2007 at camp, they didn't really become friends until high school. Mayte is a loyal friend who always responds to texts and checks in to see how you're doing. As 1/3 of the famous Chocolate Cheerios group, she's an integral part of Anthony's life and he's excited to see her relationship with Alena blossom as well.
Groomsman
Eddie and Anthony lived together for two years at Iona, first meeting in freshman year. Eddie's one of the funniest guys you'll meet and he's been a reliable friend over the years. He taught Anthony everything he knows about Pork Roll, the real Jersey Shore and collecting baseball cards from your local 7-Eleven.
Groomsman
Mike and Anthony first met freshman year, after randomly sitting near each other in Computer Science class. Anthony paid zero attention and neither did Mike, so gradually group work just led to more time to talk about soccer and coordinating FIFA games. Mike and Anthony lived together one year at Iona and have had countless outings in NYC together, which have been vegan as of late thanks to Mike. Food, Soccer, Outdoors, and Music - there's always a good convo to be had when Mike is around.
Groomsman
Oscar and Anthony have been friends since 2001 when Anthony was enrolled in St. Simon Stock School in the Bronx. The two hit it off in first grade and have been friends ever since! From clowning around, keeping each other's grades in check and talking all things WWE and AEW, it's been a great blessing to call Oscar a friend for 20 years!
Flower Girl
Abby is Anthony's youngest niece and she's is just a joy. She came into Anthony's life in junior year of high school, in which he spent many days after school going to his brother's house to help his sis-in-law with the kids. She's a smart, young girl who loves to talk and ask questions. Anthony was able to serve as a ring bearer at a couple of weddings as a kid, so it's cool for him to see his own family play a role in his wedding, something he and Abby are both excited about.
