Staying in Telluride
Telluride Mountain Resort is split into 2 base areas - the town of Telluride and Mountain Village. There is a free gondola connecting the two towns over the ski resort. The gondola operates from 6:30 am until midnight every night (2am Friday & Saturday). Most restaurants and bars are located in the town of Telluride while Mountain Village offers a quieter alternative. Both have hotels and rental properties. In addition to the hotel options listed, we also suggest checking Airbnb and VRBO for accommodations.

Montrose Regional Airport (MTJ)
The closest larger airport to fly into is Montrose (MTJ), which is a 1.5 hour drive to Telluride. Most guests will arrive by flying into Montrose.

Telluride has a very small regional airport 15 minutes from town with very limited flights. Flights tend to be more expensive but the location is convenient.

Denver and Salt Lake City are the closest major cities and airports. Both are about a 6.5 - 7 hour drive to Telluride.
