A birthday trip turned into the perfect proposal! Jon had planned the most perfect birthday trip for Ansley and thought everything through, from location of where they were staying, all the meals, and time for shopping! He had also made sure to leave time for site seeing. They had visited his college, The Citadel, and then they went down to The Battery, where the most perfect proposal began. Jon had made sure both of their families were there to witness and take part in their special moment. He also had one of their close friends taking their photos to remember this special day. Jon took Ansley on a bike taxi down to The Battery where they walked around and looked at the water while their family waited on the side for him to get down on one knee. Jon then led Ansley to the archway of trees where he said, "This has been the most perfect day, and I want every day of the rest of my life to be like this. So, I have a question for you. Ansley, will you marry me?" That "Yes" has led them to planning the rest of their life, and they can't wait to share the beginning of it all on July 22, 2023!
