Zilker Botanical Garden
A little less busy than Zilker park, the botanical garden is a beautiful oasis in the city!
South Congress Avenue
Just south of the river and always jam packed on the weekends, SoCo is definitely a sight worth visiting. From the famous "I love you so much" mural to the massive Allens Boots store to many yummy eats and drinks, there's something for everyone on SoCo.
Mueller Lake Park
Close to our hearts and home is Mueller Lake Park! Stretch your legs walking around the gorgeous park and lake. There are also places to eat and drink nearby as well as Thinkery Children’s Museum.
East 6th Street
East 6th Street is one of our favorite areas to hang out, eat, and drink in. Here are some of our favorite bars & restaurants: - Via 313 (best pizza in Austin) - Whistler's (amazing Mezcal Bar) - Zilker Brewing (has a fried chicken truck) - Lazarus Brewing (great queso fundido) - Easy Tiger (bakery, bar, and outdoor patio) - Edwin's Sports Bar (UGA bar!!)
University of Texas at Austin
UT is located right in the heart of Austin. Although we'll always be partial to UGA's gorgeous campus, UT's campus has its own unique qualities and is definitely worth a tour.
