Five years ago, our paths crossed almost by chance, and honestly, against all odds. We met during COVID, at a time when the world felt paused and people weren’t really meeting anyone new. The chances of our first encounter happening were slim to none, but somehow, life found a way to bring us together in the most unexpected moment. As the days turned into weeks, and weeks into months, we found ourselves spending more and more time together during a time when time itself felt uncertain. The simplest things like grocery runs, getting a car wash, or deciding which takeout spot to try next—became the highlights of our days. Late-night karaoke sessions (yes, they were chaotic), watching many, many football games, and endlessly talking about everything and nothing slowly built the foundation of the relationship we cherish today. To our families, we thank you for raising us to be the people who we are today and to our friends, thank you for bringing us together and believing in our love. Each and every one of you has played an ideal role in our story and we are forever grateful we have found a soulmate in one another that we cannot wait to grow old with.
