Things To Do
If you're visiting from out of town and you find yourself in Portland for a few days we're the wrong people to ask for recommendations because we hardly leave the house but here are a few of our usual haunts:
The Florida Room- a queer friendly neighborhood bar- pool table and arcade games in the back, outdoor patio, sassy service and decent drinks.
Walk up and down Alberta street for innumerable food carts, shops, art, and some memorable Portland characters.
Visit Mississippi Avenue for the same stuff but in a different font; rowdier bars, nicer sit-down food joints, swankier shops.
Portland is home to Forest Park, one of the largest urban forests in the US. There are so many hiking and walking trails, some that require a drive to the edges of town, others that are accessible from the NW downtown area. It's beautiful, go walk in it.
Please feel free to reach out with more specific questions and we'll try our best to send you in the right direction <3
