We met in July of 2019 very briefly through our mutual friend. Neither of us really thought anything of it but in November 2019, we were reintroduced by another mutual friend. We started talking and discovered that we had many mutual friends including the fact that he worked with my brother, Josiah years before. We also discovered that we both have huge families and we are both the 8th in our families. On the 16th, we met for coffee at Starbucks. I was so nervous but we hit it off. Two and a half years later, Ansel told me about a really cool boat that would be passing by waterside and we had to go see it. So He went and got a haircut and we went straight there. I ran over to where he said it'd be and somehow missed Lauren hiding in the bushes with a camera. We got to the spot and he tried to get me to turn around. When I finally did, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. At first I couldn't believe it but finally said "yes"!
