We met at Murray State University when our high schools (we went to schools 25 minutes apart) decided to bring us to the Murray State College Fair on the same day. We had a mutual friend who moved from my school to his and she thought we would like each other, so she introduced us while we were at the college fair. We hit it off talking about music, anime, and gaming. When we had to part, I didn't get his number. I remember begging my friend to get me in contact with him somehow, and that's how we got started talking on Facebook. After almost a month I got tired of waiting for him to ask me to be his girlfriend, so I asked him to my mine instead on October 17th, 2011. He said yes <3

When we took a trip to NYC, we planned to visit all sorts of places, including the Statue of Liberty. I remember the day we went, it was supposed to be warm and sunny, but it turned out to be more cloudy and cold (especially over the waters in the bay) haha. We got to the front of Statue of Liberty, and that's where he proposed to me in front of all my friends.
