I wanted to propose to Anoosha as soon as possible to keep the element of surprise. I figured the sooner, the better! Luckily, I had the help of her sister and her best friend and together, we decided on Wortham Terrace in Eleanor Tinsley Park. Her sister, Areebah, came up with the idea to ask Anoosha to take photos of her and her medical school friends at the park, to which Anoosha agreed. The entire day of the proposal, Anoosha had no idea that we were all frantically texting and running around trying to make the perfect proposal come together. That afternoon, Anoosha and I finally walked up to the terrace overlooking downtown Houston “to meet up with Areebah” and she immediately knew. With rose petals and tealight candles scattered all over the terrace, I got down on one knee, and she said yes.
