Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! The dress code is summer formal—a step above cocktail attire, but not as fancy as black tie (think midi or maxi dresses for women and a suit for men).

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive to The Lake House no later than 4:10pm. Our ceremony will start promptly at 4:30pm!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be adults only. Thank you for understanding!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation specifies a "plus one", then yes! If your invitation does not, then no.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! Please check out the "Travel" tab for hotel recommendations. We have room blocks at several hotels in the Canandaigua Lake area and recommend booking ASAP!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Of course! When you RSVP and pick your meal, please let us know about any food allergies or dietary restrictions.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! The Lake House has free parking available at the front of the hotel.

Is there transportation to and from the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We'll have a shuttle running from the hotels before the ceremony and after the reception. More details to come!
