What should I wear?

Answer

We’re going with a semi-formal dress code, so dress your best and come ready to celebrate in style! Think polished and elegant—cocktail dresses, dressy outfits, blazers, or suits are all great choices. We kindly ask that you avoid wearing white.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at the latest by 4.45 PM. The ceremony will begin precisely at 5 PM.

What if I am running late?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM, so please plan to arrive between 4:30–4:45 PM to be seated. If you arrive late, we request that you wait in the reception area until the ceremony has concluded, as we would like to avoid interruptions.

What to Expect at the Wedding (Especially if it’s your first American Wedding!)

We know many of our friends and family will be experiencing an American wedding for the first time, so here’s a quick guide to help you feel totally comfortable and excited for the day! 1. Arriving on Time The ceremony will begin exactly on time. Please plan to arrive at least 15-30 minutes early so you can get seated comfortably before everything begins. If you’re later than the start time of the event, please wait until the ceremony is over. 2. The Ceremony Here’s how the ceremony usually flows: The Groom walks down the aisle Family members from both Austin’s and Ann’s sides walk in Bridesmaids and Groomsmen enter The Bride walks down the aisle with her father The couple exchanges vows Ring exchange This part is sweet, emotional, and full of tradition. 3. Photos & Cocktail Hour After the ceremony, the families and the bridal party (including the groomsmen) will stay back for photos. Guests can enjoy drinks, appetizers, and mingle during this time. 4. Reception Begins Once the reception starts, here’s what you’ll see: First dance of the bride and groom — now officially Mr. & Mrs. Crawford! Father–daughter dance Mother–son dance Speeches and toasts Cake cutting Dinner is served 5. Dance Floor Time! After dinner, it’s your turn! Get ready to dance, celebrate, and make memories with us. 6. Departure At the end of the night, we’ll say our goodbyes as everyone heads out.
