When is the wedding?
Answer
The wedding ceremony will be at the UU Church of St. Petersburg at 5:00pm on March 30, 2019. There will be a 6:00pm cocktail hour, followed by a reception at The Poynter Institute at USF St. Pete.

Where should we book our hotel?
Answer
We have reserved a block of rooms at the Courtyard by Marriott Downtown St. Petersburg. The rate is $199/night. Check the Travel page for more info about the hotel and other accommodations.

Does the hotel have a courtesy shuttle?
Answer
The Courtyard by Marriott offers a courtesy shuttle to anywhere around downtown within 3 miles. They did say that they could not guarantee that they could get everyone to the church, so make plans accordingly. They also do not have a shuttle to the airport.

What is parking like downtown?
Answer
The valet parking at the hotel is $16/day. The street parking in downtown and around the hotel can be limited, and most of it is metered or restricted. There is ample parking near the UU Church. The parking lot for The Poynter Institute is on the south side of the building and is labeled as such.

What should I wear?

The attire is cocktail-ish, because who doesn't love to dress up!?! Of course, if you are most comfortable in flip flops we will not turn you away! We also invite you to match us if you would like. The flowers are medium blue hydrangea, our attendants are wearing navy, and there are some light and dark green accents here and there. The metallic accent color is champagne.
