We have gotten a couple questions on attire so here are some examples of what we mean by cocktail attire. For men: suit and tie, suit no tie, sports jacket and slacks For women: dress, dress pants and blouse etc.
If you would like to experience the wonders of California traffic, be our guest (haha). However, you do not need a rental car. The longest trip would be the trip from the airport to the Malibu area, but after that the hotels listed on the website are all about 10-20 minutes from the venue. There are a few shuttles that you can explore, Road Runner and Smart Shuttle which provide rides from Malibu/Westlake Village to LAX. The websites can be found below. http://www.rrshuttle.com/ext/california/malibu_90265__california_airport_shuttle.html https://smartshuttle805.businesshomepage.info/airport-shuttle And of course you can get Uber and/or Lyft from the airport and for the shorter trips to the venue.
Unfortunately, with all the date changes we were not able to secure a hotel block. However, the hotels listed on the website are very close by and there is always the option of an Airbnb which are very nice in the Malibu, Westlake Village, and Agoura Hills area.
We are hoping no, but we will have to wait and see what the rules are after June 15th as that is when California will supposedly open up. We will be sure to notify you as soon as we have more details.
