FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please wait for your formal invitation to arrive.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Even the best parents need a break sometimes! All wedding events will be adults-only and we hope you can enjoy some time to yourselves without the kiddos. However, we know you love your children (and so do we!) so please do not feel like you have to completely leave them at home. If you wish to have your kids spend time with you and also get to experience the beautiful Florida Keys, please just accommodate for child care accordingly since they will be unable to attend any events.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the ceremony?

Answer

If you are staying on Three Waters, the event will be within walking distance from your room! If you are staying at one of the sister resorts such as Amara Cay or La Siesta, please feel free to utilize the free shuttle service or water taxi to bring you to, and from, Three Waters for the event. All other guests staying at different hotels, Airbnbs or other housing accommodations will be responsible for finding their own transportation to the ceremony. Consider using a quick Uber or Lyft!

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

While we love that you want to capture our special moments, we kindly request all phones and cameras remain put away during the duration of the ceremony, which will allow for you to be fully present with us! Our professional photographer will capture perfect photos, and we will share them with you afterwards. Feel free to take any photos/videos after the ceremony has finished.

Question

What will the weather be like? November sounds cold!

Answer

Good question! We had the same thought, but have no fear, November in Islamorada is often very beautiful! (After all, we all know Ann Marie does not enjoy the cold) In the past, the temperature is typically a low of 70 degrees with a high of 80 degrees. All events will be near the water, so prepare for a nice ocean breeze which may make it feel a little cooler at times.

Question

What do I wear?

Answer

The Wedding will be Semi-Formal Beach Attire. Please refer to the "Schedule" tab for further explanation. As for the rest of your stay, just pack accordingly! The Florida Keys has a lot to offer from beautiful beaches, pools, breweries, and shops! Feel free to be as casual or as dressy as you want, but don't forget a bathing suit (or two). In the evenings, it may get cooler by the water, so a sweatshirt or pair of jeans may be good to have, even if you (hopefully) don't have to use them!

Question

Will the Wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

If Mother Nature cooperates with us.. the ceremony and cocktail hour will be completely outdoors. The Reception will also be outdoors; however, will be under a covering. Please plan your attire accordingly. We don't really wanna talk about it.. but sometimes it does r..a..i..n.. We are prepared to adjust the event accordingly if this does happen but don't worry - this won't change the party!

Question

What if I have a food allergy or dietary restriction?

Answer

We will happily accommodate for food allergies and dietary restrictions (you know we do this everywhere we go with Codi!) Please inform us of any allergies or dietary restrictions when you RSVP, after receiving your formal invitation.

Question

Will there be an open bar during the wedding?

Answer

Is this even a question? Yes! The drinks will be on us, but the hangover is on you! Guests will be responsible for their own food and drinks during the rest of their stay.

Question

ANYTHING ELSE I SHOULD KNOW?

Answer

Three Waters, Amara Cay, and La Siesta all offer complimentary self-parking for guests. Three Waters, Amara Cay, and La Siesta are all non-smoking resorts. Designated smoking areas are provided; however, please refrain from smoking in any resort rooms, balconies, or at any wedding events. A fee of $500 could occur. If you wish to stay at one of the resorts, a daily resort fee may apply, per room. If staying at one of the resorts, daily check-in is at 4:00 pm and daily checkout is at 11:00 am. Please contact the resort if you wish to have early check in, or late checkout.
