When should I arrive and depart?

Answer

We suggest arriving at least one day prior to the festivities to settle in and enjoy the island., Wednesday September 30th. Many guests are choosing to extend their stay and make a vacation of the celebration.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask guests to arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the ceremony start time to allow for seating.

May I bring a guest?

Answer

Due to the intimate nature of our celebration, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited.

What will be served?

A thoughtfully curated dining experience will be offered, including a cocktail hour and buffet-style reception.

Will events be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our celebration will take place primarily outdoors, embracing Aruba’s breathtaking beachfront setting. We recommend dressing comfortably for warm weather and ocean breezes.

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

Transportation will be simple and accessible via taxis or resort services. A rental car is not necessary unless you wish to explore the island at your leisure.

Am I expected to attend all three events?

Answer

We are thrilled to celebrate with you throughout the weekend! No expectations for Wednesday evening. Welcome drinks and a casual evening after settling in for all of our favorite people to meet and unwind before festivities. Thursday begins the morning rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, and finally Friday is our wedding ceremony and reception.

What is the weather like?

Answer

Aruba basically has “perfect beach weather” all year—which is why it’s such a popular destination wedding spot. Overall Weather Hot & sunny year-round, Average temps: 80–90°F. Constant cool trade winds keeps it from feeling unbearably hot, even in summer.

What if it rains the day of?

Answer

Very low rainfall (one of the driest Caribbean islands). Short, quick showers—if it rains, it usually passes fast. IF the day is by some chance consistently raining. (According to the hotel this has only ever happened twice), we will move the wedding to the following day.
