Think dressy casual / festive attire. Cocktail or maxi dresses for ladies, nice pants and button-ups for men. No jeans, please! We know it’s likely going to be very hot and humid, so we want everyone to be comfortable! But we also want everyone to look their best :) If you're not sure if what you're planning to wear is dressy enough, it's probably not. Upgrade it a notch and you're certain to be just fine.
Kids are welcome to attend festivities on Thursday and Saturday, however we kindly request there are no kids (outside of immediate family) at the wedding or reception. Let us know if you want us to connect you with a local sitter.
If your wedding invitation specifies "and guest," then yes, please do! If not, we'd prefer if it was just you.
Absolutely not! You are more than welcome to stay wherever you'd like, and we highly recommend seeking out an Air B&B. Some may even be cheaper than the hotel blocks we were able to reserve!
Not necessarily. If you're staying in downtown Charleston, parking is sparse. You'd be just fine with Uber or Lyft. However, if you're staying outside the city, a car may come in handy. But we'll be encouraging everyone to take cabs to the wedding – no drinking & driving!
Check out our "Around Charleston" page here on the site! We have a ton of recommendations for what to do, where to eat, where to drink, etc.
