Our story began on the first day of college at the College of Mount Saint Vincent. From the start, there was a magnet between us - something that felt familiar like we've met before. We spent our first year of college as friends - the kind of friends who enjoyed each other's company even in the silence, who always seemed to find each other in a crowd. Everyone around us could see what we wouldn't admit out loud; we weren't meant to be just friends. In our second year of college, things started to shift - we were still calling it friendship, but it was starting to look a lot like something more. Our horror movie nights became our favorite way to spend time together - starting with 28 Days Later (which we both pretended to like just to keep hanging out), then The Visit, which made us laugh instead of scream. And finally, after one of those horror marathons, Zach finally put his arm around me - HALLELUJAH! Over the past decade, we've navigated college together, learned more about each other - the good and the bad - created lasting memories with our families, and worked alongside each other at a nursing home. We've had amazing adventures traveling to different countries, but it's our college years that feel the most special. From walking through the cold streets of the city - from Chinatown to SoHo and Flushing - to coming home late after hanging out with friends and praying we'd find parking in Queens, and sharing bubble teas and desserts to save money. Through it all, we've grown both as individual and as a couple. Now, we get to share our next chapter with the people who have cheered us on.
