Is there a dress code?

Answer

Garden Party Formal. Think midi, maxi, colorful flowy dresses, or linen, lightweight, suits. It is typically hot and humid at the end of July, but there will be plenty of refreshment and the ceremony should be in the shade! The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be outside. Note: you will be walking through grass for most of the evening so plan shoes accordingly.

Answer

Cell reception at the house is very poor, please plan accordingly. The WiFi does not reach the backyard either. You can get WiFi inside the house if really needed. Please speak to someone about this if you need help.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes! There will also be non alcoholic options.

Can I bring a plus one/what about children?

Each invitation will formally address the who we are expecting to RSVP and we look forward to celebrating with you!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is very limited parking available at the venue that we would like to reserve for our vendors and members of the wedding party that need it. We will be providing shuttles, free of charge, from the hotel and back.

Is there transportation to and from the hotel from venue?

Answer

Yes! We will have a shuttle running from the hotel nearby. The shuttle will leave the hotel at 3:45pm to get to the house before the 4:30 ceremony. It will leave the reception from the house at 9:30, 10:30, and 11:30pm to head back to the hotel. Please reach out to one of us if you think you might need to drive to the ceremony

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Before it starts :) at least 20 minutes so that you have plenty of time to be seated. If you do happen to show up late we just ask that you remain in the back until it’s over. We ask that you please utilize the shuttles as there is little to no extra parking at the house. Please reach out to us if you have a question.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

We ask that all guests keep their cell phones silenced and put away during the ceremony do that everyone can enjoy the ceremony
