What's summer weather like in Colorado?

Answer

Colorado weather, especially in the mountains, is nothing if not changeable! It should be perfect 75-degree weather during the day, getting chilly in the evening (40s and 50s) because of the altitude, so bring a sweater or light jacket. A light rain jacket and umbrella might come in handy as well, because although it's a very dry climate, we usually get afternoon rain and/or thunderstorms, especially in the mountains.

Is there transportation to and from hotels to the venue?

Unfortunately Uber doesn't operate in Estes Park. However, Estes Park Rideshare is available through the Lyft app. Because of sometimes-spotty cell service in Estes Park, if you can't use the app, call them at 970-682-9985 about 30-45 minutes prior to the time you'd like to leave.

Yes, there will be alcohol served at cocktail hour and during the reception. Please remember to drink responsibly and have a designated driver.

A few important "housekeeping" items: Please drink responsibly and have a designated driver. Cars can stay overnight in the parking lot, but need to be removed by 10 a.m. the following morning, since there is a wedding almost every day at the Della Terra. Due to liability issues, there is a strict alcohol policy at the Della Terra. Alcohol consumption is only allowed at the reception itself, not in cars parked at the Della Terra or in the rooms/cabins on the premises. Anyone who leaves the reception and is suspected of drinking off-premises will be prevented from re-entering the reception.
