The dress code is semi-formal. The wedding will be outside and in mid July, so please dress accordingly! We want our guests to feel comfortable in their attire while also looking nice for our big day! Also keep in mind that the outdoor grass may be soft, so we would recommend not wearing stiletto-type heels.
Both the ceremony and reception will be outside. We will have a large party tent for the cocktail hour & reception. In the case of rain (or other weather), the ceremony will be moved under the tent or in the shed!
We kindly ask that guests arrive by 4:15pm as the ceremony will begin at 4:30pm. This will allow guests to mingle and find their seat with plenty of time.
As the wedding is a backyard wedding, parking will be on the road (Ojibwa Road). There will be signs to direct you where to park, so follow those!
As we have planned accordingly with the number of guests, we kindly ask that only the names on the formal invitation (and on the RSVP tab) attend the wedding. The formal invitation will be sent out in March and the RSVP tab will be available then! We apologize for any inconveniences this may bring.
We have listed local hotel options under the "travel" tab of our website. There is information listed under each hotel name, so make sure to read those! Also keep in mind that the Brainerd area is very busy in the summertime so we recommend booking in advance to ensure an open room.
