Hi guys! We are getting married in Dominic's hometown of Elizabethtown. The Adirondacks are lovely but we understand that it is quite a challenge to get there.
For those flying in, we suggest either flying into Albany or Burlington, which are respectively about a 1.5-2 hour drive away, where Burlington also includes a ferry that you have to catch on the hour. If you don't mind crossing the border, you may consider flying into Montreal, and driving 1.5 hours south. If you choose to fly into New York City, it is about a 4-hour drive.
Your best bet for hotels are in Lake Placid or Plattsburgh, which are about a 45-minute drive from Elizabethtown. However there are several Airbnbs in the neighboring towns. I would book these sooner rather than later. Below are a few suggestions for cabins and hotels.
We suggest renting a car, (read: no Ubers anywhere) as everything is quite far from each other.
