I worked at Chick-Fil-A, at the time. I was 17 and he was 16. Sitting in the lobby before I had to clock in when I overheard a person around the same age as me, talking about the Lord so softly to a kind, old man. I fell in love with his voice and his outlook on life before I even saw what he looked like. I brushed it off but didn't forget that moment. He started to come in frequently. When I would look over, there he was. Every time. I knew I couldn't go throughout this life without at least getting to know who he was. Little did he know, I knew he was going to be my husband since the first time he was put onto my path. I reached out to him through social media. We talked day and night for hours, knowing we had to be up in a couple hours for work. A few days later we met in person, next door to Freddy's during sunset. He didn't know it at the time, but he won my heart, in that moment. Since then, we've grown to love each other day in and day out. Through the good times and the bad, I know the Lord put us together for His greater good. Marrying my best friend is the best decision I could ever make. Going on four years with him, and many more to come. One moment turned into our little love story, written by the greatest author there is. God.
