we're getting married!

We met on Tumblr, of all places! I (Shannon) messaged Annie because I was looking to make some online gay friends and, based on her blog, it seemed like we had a lot in common. Once we started talking, we didn't stop, and we began dating a few weeks later on May 15. Who would've thought a random Tumblr message would've led us here? :)

We had talked about getting married for a long time, but Annie completely caught me off-guard when she proposed! Just a few days prior, she'd told me that she wasn't in any rush to get engaged. She brought me a nearby beach at sunset, gave me a sappy letter she'd written, and by the time I finished reading it, she was on one knee.
