Rooftop bar within walking distance of hotels
Our first date spot! We sat on the bench out in the garden in front of the coffee shop, safe to say it was a good first date!
Relive the date where Will really "wowed" Annie with home-made Sangria and a picnic overlooking a beautiful river valley! Take a drive or walk in Peoria Heights through Grand view drive! A two and a half mile scenic road with adjacent park areas, Teddy Roosevelt (apparently) once called it, "World's Most Beautiful Drive" during a 1910 visit to Peoria. The original PBR tasting room is not too far from this area either. This is where we took our engagement photos! In the summer, this road is filled with people picnicking, running, and enjoying the weather with great views.
A great walking and biking trail through the Bloomington/Normal!
An Asian fusion place in Bloomington, one of Will and Annie's favorite date spots! (Anju above is upstairs, but if seating isnt available, you can still get Anju's menu in the lower level restaurant, Epiphany Farms.) There is also a bar on the same block called Pour bros, where you can play arcade games and have a drink.
Walking distance of the Bloomington Hotel Block!
Prior to the prohibition, Peoria was once known as the alcohol distilling capital of the world and at one time, nearly monopolized the whiskey industry. Visit the Peoria Riverfront museum to learn more about Peoria's distillery history, see rotating installments, or catch an imax movie.
A pizza place that has a driving range in the back if you are looking for something fun to do!
For the kids
A nature center where you can see wildlife living in it's natural habitat. 20 minutes away from the Peoria Airport.
Coffee shop very close to the Hyatt! (On Fridays they serve cronuts!)
A coffee spot right next to the Hyatt hotel!
