Annie and Nichole had a small wedding of 20 with immediate family at Zingermann's Cornman Farm, in Detroit, Michigan. Why Detroit? So that Annie’s very special grandmother, Marie, who lives in Detroit, could attend. Who presided over the ceremony? None other than Nichole’s talented and witty brother, Travis, who looked very much like a priest, with his clerical collar. Annie’s brother Alex, as best man, and Nichole’s sister, Erika, as maid of honor rounded out the party and gave exceptional speeches.

On a dating app, after Nichole’s sister and brother created what must be an exceptional dating profile for Nichole. (We parents don’t know–we’ve never seen it.) But it caught Annie’s eye, and she struck pay dirt on her FIRST try. (It took Nichole 14 attempts to find Annie.)
For now, in Cincinnati, where Nichole works as a design engineer for Johnson and Johnson, and Annie works remotely as a research scientist at Law School Admissions Counsel. Their plan is to move to California in a few years!
