Things To Do

The town of Brewster itself is very small, but there's plenty of fun activities in the area. Gamble Sands golf course is three miles from Annie's house and is Max's favorite course.

Gamble Sands

200 Sands Trail Road, Brewster, WA 98812
, (509) 436-8323

Stunning golf course with the best views of the valley. Plus there's a par 3 and putting green. There's also a restaurant+bar, Danny Boy Grill. Tee times can be made on their website.

Lone Point Cellars

6 Lakeview Way, Brewster, WA 98812
, (509) 689-1010

Wine tasting plus lunch and dinner. Owned by Dana Divis, long time family friend and wedding planner.

Taco Wagon

4th street, Brewster, WA 98812

Taco Wagon is best place to eat hands down. Annie's favorites are the chicken quesadilla, super burrito and carne asado tacos. Of course, Max likes the lengua tacos (ew, tongue).

Los Camperos Restaurant

main street, brewster, WA 98812

Los Camperos is a classic family run Mexican restaurant on Main street, right next to the fighter jet that Annie's uncle Dan had installed while he was mayor of the town in the 80s. Great enchiladas and margaritas.

Tappi Restaurant

201 S Glover St, Twisp, WA 98856

Amazing Italian restaurant located in the adorable town of Twisp. Order the pillow bread :)

North Cascade National Park

Via the Methow Valley, there are many day hikes and places to explore in this hidden gem of a National Park. Maple Pass hike is beautiful and accessible.

Lake Chelan

323 W Manson Hwy, Chelan, WA 98816, Chelan, WA

A beautiful lake town located about 25 min drive from Brewster. Lakeview Drive in has the best burgers in town.

Sun Mountain Lodge

604 Patterson Lake Rd, Winthrop, WA, WA 98862

Lovely rustic lodge located outside of Winthrop - the gateway to the North Cascade National Park. Complete with a pool, restaurant and many outdoor activities.

Twisp Farmers Market

Downtown Twisp, Twisp, WA 98856

Every Saturday morning there is a great farmers market in Twisp. There's also great lunch spots like the local bakery for a nice little lunch. Also check out Winthrop up the road, it's a Western style town that is a little like Solving, CA.

For all the days along the way
