She was supposed to have a weekend trip with her friend, Arianna. However, her parents couldn't trust two young women to travel to Reno by themselves. That's how, Kin, the big strong male chaperone, got to join in. It was our first trip together and the rest was history...

To preface, there was a running joke between the couple that Kin's proposal was going to be some grand gesture. The plan (joke) was to release a hoard of bunnies with the ring strapped to one of them. He would grab the ring, propose, and a mariachi band would start celebrating when Annie said yes. One Sunday, Annie thought she was just catching up with her friend, Deeksha, while they were in town. After finishing dinner, Deeksha said she had a gift... to celebrate Annie and Kin's anniversary, but she had to go grab it from her car. "Strange," Annie whispered, but wasn't surprised because Deeksha is the type to be very sweet and random. Moments later, she walked around the corner and releases, Bunny, the dog. Bottled with excitement, he dashes towards the couple. Annie tries her best to restrain him as he's running in and out from underneath the table. As soon as she grabbed hold of him, she notices a tiny green guitar and a sombrero on him... "WHAT'S GOING ON??" Looking for answers, Annie turns towards Kin... who was already down on one knee!! Instead of a hoard of bunnies and a mariachi band playing, they got, Bunny, the dog, in a mariachi costume for a pup-rosal they'll never forget!!
