Siesta Key Beach is known for its pristine white sand and breathtaking sunsets. In the Chester family, it's the prime seashell collecting spot, best morning walk location, and the perfect place to set up a chair and watch the sandpipers run up and down the shore. Jenna, Annie and Cait were once gently greeted by a manatee in the waves!
The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art
DON'T be like Jenna and try to open any doors that are roped off! Visit John Ringling's love letter to wife, Mabel. Built in the 1920's , the Ca' d'Zan is modeled after Venetian gothic style of palazzos and has stunning detail everywhere you look.
Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium
"We are guardians of the sea and all living things that depend upon it." Manatees, dolphins, sharks, sea turtles. otters, stingrays, and other Florida sea creatures call the Mote home. Try not to cry at how cute the turtles in rehab are.
Marie Selby Botanical Gardens' Historic Spanish Point campus
Jenna walked with Megan and Jerry here before telling them her plan to propose to Annie. Head south down Tamiami to walk back in time- all the way back! The grounds include an archeological exhibit of a prehistoric shell mound, a turn-of-the-century pioneer homestead historic house museum, a citrus packing house, a chapel, boatyard, gardens, and nature trails.
Lido Key Mangrove Kayak Tours
Rent a kayak or stand up paddle board and explore the mangroves on your own or for an exciting group activity. Keep your eyes peeled for dolphins, manatees, sea turtles, and cheeky water birds known to Annie & Jenna as "Kevins"!
