Things To Do

We feel like going to Portland is a great example of the creativity that God expresses through who and what he creates (i.e. we saw a man sleeping in a tuperware container). Within an hour of Portland (in two directions) you can head to the Oregon Coast or Mount Hood & Hood River is also about an hour away- a breathtaking town on the Columbia gorge (just look it up)- a town with kite surfing, fishing, mountain biking. Finally, 20 minutes from Portland you can go to the wine country! And right in Portland there are 60 miles of hiking or biking trails. Go crazy. THIS IS THE BEST PART! https://www.portlandoregon.gov/parks/finder/index.cfm?action=ViewPark&PropertyID=127 Portland is split up into walkable 'districts'- Hawthorne: thrift shops, food, funky, annie's favorite Northwest 23rd: boutiques, food, would recommend to anyone Alberta: adam's favorite, up and coming, smaller Mississippi: I feel like this is a music street, eclectic, fun stores More to come that I don’t know about....
