Steamboat Ski Resort

Right in town. Access mountain biking, mountain coaster, and miniature golf. Thursday August 30th, there is a sunset happy hour at the top of the gondola $15 ticket with a $5 reimbursement voucher to be used on food or drinks. Family fun happy hour held on August 31 4-7.

Downtown Shopping

Friday through Monday, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Blocks of store, restaurants, and bars. Check out these places: Ohana, F.M. Light sons, Straight line, Chrysalis, and The Cowboys and Indians store. Lunch Spots: Backcountry delicatessen, Skull Creek Gyros, Salt and Lime outdoor taco bar, Wyonias Best local Happy hours: Mambo's Italiano, Laundry, O'Neils, Carl's, Table 79, Sake to Me, Sunpies

Zirkel Wilderness Area

Clark, CO

Zirkel is home to our favorite hiking trails, lakes, and camping in the Steamboat Area. Here are some of our favorites: Three Islands Lake: moderate, 7 miles round trip, moderately populated, beautiful lake for a picnic or fishing. Gilpin lake: A beautiful glacier lake with panoramic views, 10 miles round trip, moderate, Connects to the Zirkel circle for a 13 mile hike Hinman Lake: 3 miles round trip, easy hiking, beautiful small lake, sits on the edge of Zirkel Wilderness close to Clark.

Wild West Air Show

September 1, 2018 9 am - 3 pm September 2-3rd 14TH ANNUAL WILD WEST AIR FEST - SEE THE VERY BEST PILOTS IN THE WEST The Wild West Air Fest features nationally renowned performers providing edge of your seat excitement as they perform thrilling aerobatics and formation flying. Don't miss the nonstop, action-packed performances in the extended air show this year. $10 for adults per day, $5 for youth ages 6 - 12, and free for 5 and under. Purchase tickets in advance and skip the line at the event!

End of Summer Jam - Free Concert Series

Howelsen Parkway, Steamboat Springs, CO 80487

The show will feature many performers including The Motet, Kyle Hollingsworth Band, and Eric Tessmer. This show will take place at Howelsen Hill Amphitheater. Music from 3 pm -9:30. Directions to Howelsen hill From Lincoln Avenue (US Hwy 40) in downtown Steamboat Springs, turn toward the Yampa River on 5th street, cross the bridge about two blocks down, turn right, and you're pointing towards the Howelsen Hill parking area.

Saturday Farmer's Markert

7th and Yampa St, Steamboat Springs, CO 80487

more than 100 vendors, including (mostly) locally produced foods and arts and crafts, this market has become a weekly stop for locals and visitors alike. Saturday 9 am - 2 pm. Live music from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Once you are downtown for the market, and out of your car, don't forget to visit the rest of downtown merchants, restaurants and attractions.

PBR Bull Bash

5th Street and Howelsen Parkway, Steamboat Springs, CO 80487

It's boots and chaps, it's cowboy hats, it's spurs and a latigo, It's the ropes and the reins, and the joy and the pain, and they call the thing rodeo.
