Here are some of our favorites: Three Islands Lake: moderate, 7 miles round trip, moderately populated, beautiful lake for a picnic or fishing. Gilpin lake: A beautiful glacier lake with panoramic views, 10 miles round trip, moderate, Connects to the Zirkel circle for a 13 mile hike Hinman Lake: 3 miles round trip, easy hiking, beautiful small lake, sits on the edge of Zirkel Wilderness close to Clark.
