It’s Fourth of July weekend, and we feel so grateful that you’re choosing to celebrate with us! We’ve put together a few local spots and activities near the Hyatt Regency Hauppauge for you to enjoy throughout the weekend. 🇺🇸

Resturants

-Maureen’s Kitchen (10-15 drive) A beloved breakfast and brunch spot known for its cozy, homey feel and over-the-top portions -Sangria 71 (15 minute drive) A lively and festive Spanish restaurant just a short drive from the Hyatt. -Steve's Piccola Bussola (5–10 minute drive) Italian restaurant known for its family-style dining, generous portions, and warm, welcoming atmosphere. -The Shed Restaurant- (20–25 minute drive) brunch, cocktails, and a fun outdoor summer vibe.

Beaches

600 Robert Moses State Parkway, Babylon, NY 11702

Beach lovers, this one’s for you! ☀️ Long Island is home to some truly incredible beaches (coming from a totally unbiased Long Beach resident 🙂). Robert Moses State Park is just about 35 minutes from the Hyatt—perfect for a relaxing beach day during your Fourth of July weekend.

Wineries

Long Island is home to some incredible wineries, here are some close to the Hyatt -Great South Bay Brewery (11 min) -Bluepoint Brewery (22 min) -Del Vino winery (24 min) For the full “wine country” experience, we highly recommend heading out to the North Fork (about 45–60 minutes away). It’s a beautiful area and well worth the trip if you have the time.
