After swiping right, we met at a brewery on the Everett Marina. Annie gave Tom a hard stop at 7:30 to have the time to get ready for work the next day. We chatted through our interests, finding similarities with movies, our birthdays being a day a part, but spent most of the night discussing strategies and a mutual love for traveling to Disneyland. It was well past 7:30 by the time we shared an awkward hug and agreed to go out again. We've never looked back since!
It was an icy December in Kirkland. Tom had all the engagement plans ready for December 23rd. He was going to run to get the last few pieces when Annie was out with his sister, Megan, and have the whole house decorated when she returned. However, thanks to Mother Nature, there was a terrible ice storm on the 23rd and Annie did NOT leave the house. This derailed everything. It was time for Plan B: move engagement plans to the 24th and hope the ice storm warmed up. Lucky for him, it did! He was able to get what he needed and decorate the house Christmas Eve morning. With Gus Gus in hand, Annie said YES. We can't wait for you to join us to celebrate our Happily Ever After!
