We’re excited to be married on a historic family property, Mohican Point, on beautiful Lake George in the southern Adirondacks. Mohican Point is just a couple of miles from the family farm where Annie’s great, great, great grandmother, Lillian Tuttle, grew up. In the early 1900s, her husband (Annie’s great, great, great grandfather), William K. Bixby, bought the Mohican House Hotel that once stood on the property and converted it into a family home to escape the summer heat of St. Louis for his family and future generations. Seven generations later, Mohican Point is still a gathering place for the Bixby family, with more than 200 relatives visiting each year, and it’s one of our most treasured places. Tim’s family also spends time in Townshend, VT, less than two hours away, making this corner of the Northeast a special pocket of the country for both of us, and we can't wait to share it with you!
