Where is the best place to stay?
Answer
The Park Hotel! All of our events for the weekend will be hosted at The Park Hotel - 22 S Carroll Street. There is a Badger Football game the same day as our wedding. Being a college town that thrives on tourism, Madison room rates will be higher at almost all hotels and rooms wills go quickly! Question
If I stay somewhere else, how should I plan to travel to the wedding?
Answer
There are several hotels within walking distance of the Capitol Square and the wedding venue. Additionally, Uber and Lyft are fast and convenient services in Madison.
Question
What should I wear?
Answer
Whatever you want! This is a themed wedding, so dressing on theme is encouraged. Great Gatsby and 1920's inspired outfits make the theme come to life! While we do not expect everyone to be in full costume, we invite you to embrace the theme and incorporate it into your style. Party and cocktail attire are also more than appropriate. What do I do between the Ceremony and Reception?
Answer
The Ceremony and the Reception will be hosted in the same place - Top of the Park in The Park Hotel. Between the Ceremony and Reception while the crew flips the room, guests are invited across the street to the Capitol Building for photos. It is the couples wish to get photos with all family and friends! There is an hour and a half between Ceremony and Reception. After you have taken photos, you are welcome to explore! There are many establishments located on the Capitol Square, including The Post lounge and bar inside of The Park Hotel.

Who is invited to which events?
Answer
EVERYONE is invited to EVERYTHING! Don't feel pressure or obligation to make it to all of the events - if you're not going to be in town Friday for the Welcome Event, we don't expect you to be there! Same for brunch on Sunday. We planned these events to make sure we had a full weekend to celebrate and time to spend with everyone. Tradition is out the window for this wedding - come and enjoy any and all of the events that you can!

What is the age limit for guests?
Answer
All of our invited guests are 21+. With the theme of the celebration focused on a Great Gatsby Party, we felt it was appropriate to have of-age guests be invited. Additionally, the Top of the Park is a gorgeous, intimate space with limited capacity, not ideal for anyone under the age of 21. If you have any questions or concerns, contact the bride.
