Peter and I met in 2015 during our freshman year at Franciscan University. We became close friends during our senior year - I would make fun of his long hair and white v-necks, he would scope out where I was sitting in the library and sit next to me and distract me from my work. Over our Christmas break senior year, Peter, myself and two close friends took a month long trip to India and Nepal. While serving in Calcutta and hiking a 14-day trek in the Himalayas, we pretty much just “fell in love in Asia.” Although we’ve been long distance for 3 years now, letter writing when I lived in Wyoming, cross country road trips, serving as missionaries and countless fun times at the Rainwater’s ranch near Glacier National Park has set a wildly fun, adventurous, and trusting foundation for our relationship that I wouldn’t change for anything. Peter is my rock. I’ve learned a heck of a lot about myself and the Lord through Him and am humbled to become his wife. Also, Rainwater is way easier to spell than Niemaszyk, so that's a fun perk!
