Things To Do

Scott's Addition Historic District

Richmond, VA 23230

Scott's Addition is one of Richmond's coolest neighborhoods. This former industrial area features many breweries, cideries, distilleries, and restaurants! Some of our favorite breweries include Hardywood, Starr Hill, The Veil, and Vasen. River City Roll, Cirrus Vodka, Buskey Cidery, and Reservoir Distilling are also great bets in this neighborhood. Tazza Kitchen, ZZQ, Don't Look Back Tacos, Brenner Pass, and Fat Dragon Chinese are all great restaurants to check out.

Carytown

Carytown is home to some of the best bars, restaurants, and shopping in Richmond. This walkable area is home to some of our favorite spots such as Can Can Brasserie (French), Mom's Siam (Thai), The Daily (American), East Coast Provisions (Seafood), and Burger Bach. Make sure to check out Annie's favorite bar, New York Deli! The Jasper is a great spot for craft cocktails as well. Galaxy Diner is open late and has a great breakfast.

The Fan District

Richmond, VA

The Fan is another very cool, walkable neighborhood in Richmond that is home to some of the prettiest streets and homes in the city. Looking for some great food? The Fan is your spot. Nate's Bagels is Paul's favorite breakfast spot in Richmond. Joe's Inn is a great breakfast place too. Kuba Kuba is home to some of the best Cuban food outside of Miami. 8 and 1/2 has excellent pizza. Looking for something a little (fan)cier? Edo's Squid and Heritage have great Italian and fine American food, respectively. You could say that we are fans of The Fan (ba dum tss)

Tarrant's Cafe is a great choice, located next to The Quirk and Graduate hotels. Casa Del Barco is a great spot for Mexican food and margaritas on the James River. Lemaire and the lobby bar at the Jefferson Hotel are both excellent places to go if you're looking to get a little dressed up Make sure to check out The Tobacco Company for a great meal and cool bar scene at their first floor bar.
