Calgary International Airport (YYC)

This is the best airport to fly into. The drive from Calgary Airport to Banff is about an hour and a half. There are several shuttles and ride share services available to choose from. One we recommend is the Banff Airporter shuttle that runs every hour from 5am to 10:30pm (please see link below). Car rental from the airport is another option- keep in mind that the visibility is low at night, so please plan accordingly if you prefer to drive. Reminder: Banff is a National Park, so an entry fee of ~ $20 CAD ($15 USD) per day will apply. Should you decide to take a shuttle or taxi, you are not required to purchase this entry pass.
