Things To Do

We hope you have fun exploring Stamford and the other towns in the area! Shout out to our friend Erin who lives in the area for most of these recommendations. If you're into hiking like we are, there are lots of great hikes all over the Catskills- you'll just have to drive a bit south.

Stamford Coffee

79 Main Street, Stamford, NY 12167

Get yer coffee and breakfast pastries here

Buck Hill Farm

185 Fuller Road, Jefferson, NY 12093

Delicious looking farm to table breakfast

Pratt Rock Trailhead

Prattsville, NY 12468

"New York's Mount Rushmore" Short but steep hike up - great views if you find your way to the top of the rocks (there's no map or trail markers but it's not too hard to figure out). It can be slippery and eroded so wear proper footwear.

Charlotteville General Store and Coffee Roastery

668 Charlotte Valley Road, Charlotteville, NY 12036

Cute looking general store

Mount Utsayantha Fire Tower

Hobart, NY 13788

We attempted to go here once but couldn't figure out where to park, ha. The drive up is very steep so I'd recommend hiking it. This website tells you where to park (on the side of the road)... I'd like to try to go here again sometime.

Core Values Inc

Mine Kill State Park

We haven't been here but it's not far from Stamford and looks like there are some nice trails
