Is there a dress code?

Answer

While we request you wear cocktail attire, we recommend dressing for a summer in San Francisco! While we can't predict the weather, if it looks like the fog might roll in, we recommend bringing a light coat for ceremony. There will be a self-check coat closet for jackets and coats.

Where is the General's Residence and how do I get there?

Answer

The General's Residence is located at 1 Fort Mason, in Fort Mason, San Francisco. We recommend taking an Uber or a Lyft to the venue. Fort Mason's street entrance is at Bay and Franklin Streets -- follow Franklin Street until you hit MacArthur Avenue, and the venue will be to your right!

Where is the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will be on the lawn of the General's Residence. When you enter the venue, there will be signs to direct you to the lawn behind the building.

Is there parking?

Answer

While we do recommend taking an Uber or a Lyft, yes, there is parking! The parking spots that are located in Upper Fort Mason are for public use. There is street parking available along MacArthur Avenue (closest to the venue), as well as a lot below the Fort Mason Chapel. Should Upper Fort Mason be full, guests are welcome to park in the paid by space lot in Lower Fort Mason Center for the Arts. Please be sure to avoid parking in a fire lane.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5 PM, we would ask that our guests arrive around 4:45 at the latest - there will be refreshments before the ceremony.

Answer

Yes, kids are welcome! But please let us know prior to the event, so we can make arrangements.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

While we wish we could provide everyone with a plus one, unfortunately we have to limit our guest list. If you have a plus one, it will be indicated on the invitation/RSVP.
