Annie and Matt met in the summer of 2020, right in the middle of Covid. Matt had just returned home from serving in the Navy and was adjusting back to civilian life, while Annie was starting fresh after some big life changes of her own. What began as a friendship quickly grew into something more—and on just their second date, Matt made Annie the best steak of her life (in case you didn’t already know, food is the way to her heart!). From that moment, she was hooked. Annie fell for Matt not only because of his good looks and charm, but because of the life he brought into hers. He introduced her to amazing friends, and together they spent the next few years growing, learning, and building a life side by side. In the summer of 2024, they bought their first home together. Not long after, Matt proposed, marking the beginning of the next chapter in their journey. Through new jobs, tough challenges, and exciting milestones, they have leaned on each other every step of the way. In the hardest moments, they encouraged one another to grow in their faith and trust in God, finding strength and peace together when life felt overwhelming. Together, they’ve lifted each other up through every season, pushing one another to grow, and creating a love that is steady, joyful, and grounded in faith.
