In 2017, Mason moved to Oklahoma for his first Army training. Mason's mom, Wanda, and Annie's aunt, Christy, quickly set the two up to show Mason around Oklahoma! After their first meeting, Mason made the two hour drive to Norman to see Annie EVERY weekend, for 5 months. When Mason's training ended, he moved up to Tacoma, Washington, and the two started a much longer distance relationship. For the next three years, Annie and Mason made the trip back and forth from Oklahoma to Washington. On February 22nd, Mason flew to OKC to spend the weekend with Annie. After a day in the city, Mason took Annie to the Myriad Gardens in downtown OKC and he asked her to marry him! Following engagement pictures, Mason and Annie went to dinner where Mason's parents, Lou and Wanda, and Annie's sorority big, Meg, had flown in from Washington D.C.. They joined Annie's family and best friends to surprise her to celebrate their engagement. Mason has recently been reassigned to Fort Sill in Lawton, Oklahoma and will be moving down as soon as COVID-19 settles. We can't wait to celebrate our special day with you!
